Goals get the credit, but the runs that create space often go unnoticed.
How much does movement off the ball matter for a forward, and which type of run is most valuable?

It matters massively for multi-match accumulators because a striker who constantly stretches the backline keeps the whole attacking unit ticking, which usually translates to consistent shot volume and better value on team goals or over markets. When you are looking at player props or building a same-game multi, those decoy runs and blind-side movements are usually what create the high-xG chances in the box. The diagonal run across the centre-back's blind spot is probably the most valuable one to watch for, since it either opens a clean shooting lane or completely collapses the defensive shape for a cutback. Do you guys factor movement into your weekly stats deep-dives, or is it mostly about final-third output when picking your bets?
