boots · 6 Nov 2026
### 1. Purpose
Pitchside Forum aims to maintain a fair, respectful and trustworthy community. Members who believe moderation action against their account or content was incorrect may appeal the decision.
### 2. Reasons for Moderation Action
Moderation action may be taken when members:
- Violate the Community Rules & Guidelines.
- Engage in spam, harassment or abusive behaviour.
- Post fraudulent, misleading or deceptive content.
- Impersonate other members, businesses or representatives.
- Manipulate reviews, ratings or discussions.
- Engage in threats, scams or other prohibited activity.
### 3. Types of Account Restrictions
Depending on the seriousness and frequency of the violation, Pitchside may apply:
- Informal warning.
- Official warning.
- Temporary posting restriction.
- Temporary account suspension.
- Permanent account suspension.
The action taken will depend on the circumstances and severity of the violation.
### 4. How to Appeal
Members who wish to challenge a moderation decision should contact the moderation team through the designated appeal or support channel.
Appeals should include:
- Username or account details.
- The moderation action being challenged.
- The reason the member believes the decision was incorrect.
- Any relevant evidence or additional context.
### 5. Appeal Review
Appeals will be reviewed fairly and impartially.
Where possible, an appeal should be reviewed by a moderator who was not directly responsible for the original decision.
The moderation team may uphold, amend or reverse the original decision.
### 6. Appeal Outcomes
Members will be informed of the outcome where reasonably possible.
If an appeal is successful, the relevant restriction may be removed or amended.
If the original decision is upheld, the restriction will remain in place.
### 7. Abuse of the Appeals Process
The appeals process must not be used to harass moderators, repeatedly submit identical appeals or disrupt the community.
Such behaviour may result in further moderation action.
### 8. Final Word
Pitchside Forum recognises that moderation decisions are not always straightforward. Members deserve a reasonable opportunity to challenge decisions they believe are unfair.
Our objective is to enforce the rules consistently while treating members with fairness and respect.
